MasjidMe is designed as a community and mosque information platform. We aim to collect only the information needed to provide features such as nearby masjid discovery, prayer reminders, announcements, mosque profiles, events, classes, sermons, feedback, and admin tools.
Information MasjidMe may use
- Location permission: Used only when you choose features such as nearby masjid discovery, map view, distance calculation, or directions.
- Notification permission: Used for optional prayer reminders, mosque announcements, event reminders, class updates, or community alerts.
- Account/admin information: Mosque admins or superadmins may provide names, emails, mosque role information, and mosque profile data for approval and management.
- Mosque and community content: Announcements, events, classes, sermons, certificate records, volunteer posts, halal listings, and feedback may be stored to provide the app experience.
- App diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data may be used to improve stability and fix bugs.

- MasjidMe does not sell personal data.
- MasjidMe does not collect payment card details directly; payments, if added, are handled by Apple, Google, or approved payment providers.
- MasjidMe does not use precise location in the background unless a clear future feature requires it and the user gives permission.
- MasjidMe does not publish private user information as public mosque content without a user/admin action.
Third-party services
MasjidMe may use services such as Firebase, Google Maps, Google Places, push notification services, app store billing systems, and Islamic content APIs. These services may process limited technical data according to their own privacy policies.
Children and families
MasjidMe is intended as a family-friendly Islamic community app. If children use the app, parents or guardians should supervise usage, especially where community content, location, or online features are involved.
